EAT HEALTHY

Nutrition

A hot lunch and two snacks (morning and afternoon) are served.
The cook prepares menus based on Canada’s Food Guide.
For infant meals, mashed potatoes are prepared according to the same criteria of freshness and quality.
With each dinner we offer water.
It is possible to change a meal or a snack. Please see the menu posted at the daycare.
The fruit of the day will be posted on the board at the daycare.
The menu changes every four weeks.

  • Breakfast is served at 8:00 AM (Milk, Croissants, Cereal, Cheese, Bread…)
  • Dinner Snack is served at 5:30 PM

If your child has religious or lifestyle dietary restriction, the daycare will make reasonable adjustments to the menu in order to accommodate his/her needs. For example, a vegetarian child may be offered meatless spaghetti sauce while the other children have meat sauce.

Menus of the nursery refer to the recommendations of the CANADIAN FOOD GUIDE and are prepared by a catering service respecting the needs of each child whether it be beliefs, intolerance or an allergy. We offer healthy and balanced snacks and lunches that meet the nutritional and energy needs of children.
