Have fun this summer with your friends!

It’s time to go out with Lapinou Lapina campers and take advantage of our exceptional care, experienced instructors and fantastic activities. It is easy to register. You can register even if your child can not make all the specific weeks, since the registration for the summer camp is “by the day”. Just choose the days that suit you between June 27th and August 31st.

About the camp

  • The opening hours of the camp are from 06:30 to 18:00. Arrive and go at any time!
  • The summer camp runs from June 27th to August 31st.
  • The summer camp takes place during all the summer periods of the year such as Christmas holidays, spring break and Easter holidays.
  • No minimum days to participate, registrations are “by the day.”
  • Hot meal, prepared on site. Yum! Healthy and delicious!
  • Qualified, experienced and fun instructors!
  • Tax credits available for most families.

The karate class

  • Provided by experienced karate teachers once a week during the months of July and August.
  • A certificate of participation provides all campers.

Swimming lessons

  • For children 5 years and older
  • Lessons are given once a week in July and August
  • It takes place at the excellent Aquatic Center of Saint Vincent in Laval

Outings

  • Great excursions in the area
  • Bus or school bus transportation, very well supervised
  • Parents pay only the cost of entry to the activity if applicable
    Regular outings include cinema, science center, Cosmodome, fish shop, Zoo etc.

Daily activities

Camp schedule

Schedules are approximate based on the weather, we are able to stay outside a little longer during the beautiful days, gloomier days we will go indoors for more engaging activities or periods of free play and games. In summer we try to get out as much as possible. We can snack outside, and do physical activities, science activities and exploratries. We love summer!

Things to bring for the camp

When your child starts their first day, please bring the following items that will stay at the camp for the period the child is enrolled:

  • A pair of shoes for the inside; Unless your child knows how to tie their shoes, we strongly prefer running shoes with velcro (to help the child develop independence). ALL shoes must have non-marking (white) soles.
    Spare clothes in a Ziploc bag: Sweater, pants, underwear and socks
    A swimsuit and a towel bearing the child’s name (for outside water games on hot days)
  • Snowwear, neck warmers, tuques and outdoor mittens with snow boots

For campers who want to bring their own lunch box to eat to their taste:

  • Two snacks (for the morning and afternoon) in an insulated lunch box with a “IcePack” type chiller and their main meal hot in a thermostat or sandwich container in ziploc bags and dessert.

What should I send for snacks?

  • Chopped fruits or vegetables
  • yogurt
  • Crackers and cheese
  • Muffin
  • Little sandwich
  • Granola bar without nuts
  • Dried fruits
  • HEALTHY SNACKS (no chocolate or sweets!)
  • And do not forget especially bottles of water.

SNACKS MUST NOT CONTAIN NUT. PLEASE READ THE LABELS CAREFULLY. ANY “HOME” FOOD WITHOUT PACKAGING MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A WRITTEN NOTE FROM THE PARENT THAT THE SNACK IS FREE OF NUTS.

CAMP

How to register:
Come for a visit! The visit usually lasts about half an hour, during you can ask all your questions and we will be happy to answer them. In order to be able to devote your attention when you arrive for a visit, we ask you to call ahead or send an email for an appointment. If you are not able to come for a visit, registration can also be done by phone and email. Once you have decided that your child will start at Lapinou Lapina, you will need to:
Confirm with the administration office that a place is available for your child. If no place is available, you will have the option of placing your child on a waiting list.
Children already enrolled in summer day camp are automatically enrolled in summer camps and always have priority of place

Complete the registration agreement and the departure authorization form.
Fill out the summer camp registration form if your child starts during the summer period.
Send us an email with all attached forms.
Make the payment of your registration.
Complete the tax credit form for advance payments at the end of May.
Book your orientation tours for you and your child. These usually take place the week before the child starts his first day.

This camp takes place during holidays such as Christmas holidays, spring break and more. Many winter activities, scientific activities and more are planned and organized by our experienced instructors to develop a good holiday full of joy and surprises for our young campers.

Free skating at rinks Raymond Bourque Arena, Acadia Arena and outdoor rinks at the park
Sliding on snow, ice sculpture and other activities on snow
